Student Mowing Services connects local students with lawn care opportunities, allowing homeowners to request services or post paid mowing jobs while helping students gain real-world entrepreneurial experience, earn income, and build their own lawn care businesses.

Free Mowing for the elderly
We offer free mowing for the elderly, widowed, veterans and those in need during the summer.
At Student Mowing Services, we believe in giving back to our community. Through our partnership with Raising Men & Women Lawn Care, we offer free lawn mowing services to elderly residents, widows, disabled individuals, veterans, and foster families in the Wichita area. This initiative not only provides essential assistance to those in need but also instills values of hard work, character, and service in our student participants.
Students who complete the 50 Yard Challenge are awarded brand new mowing equipment and welcomed into the StudentMowing.org business coaching program to help them grow their first business and prepare for their future.

What started as a small effort to teach responsibility and service has now become a thriving program where students not only learn valuable life and business skills but also give back by helping widows, veterans, and the elderly with free lawn care.
