About the company: Student Startup, Inc is a non-profit that helps high school and college students launch their own “starter business” (i.e. mowing, cleaning, babysitting) to get an internship of sorts in entrepreneurship. We aim to use the opportunities and challenges of owning a small business to break the cycle of perpetual adolescence and help young people become real adults, like Jesus, who do good work to honor God and love their neighbor. Through the mentoring of our volunteer business coaches, listening to the audio curriculum while they work, and attending seminars focused on business/leadership/spiritual growth, we help students see how Christ’s death on the cross for their sins affects all of life.
