Erika Duncan is the Director of Student Sitters at Student Startup, bringing a wealth of experience in both childcare and teen discipleship. She graduated with a degree in Secondary English Education from Friends University and spent six years teaching at the middle school level before becoming a licensed childcare provider, operating her own daycare and in-home preschool for over a decade. Erika also spent five years directing the Mom’s Day Out program at First Evangelical Free Church, where she and her family attend. Her extensive background in childcare, church ministries, and foster/adoption care fuels her passion for mentoring students. Erika and her husband, David, have been married for over two decades and stay busy and blessed raising their five children.
